Im Rahmen des musikprotokolls wurde am 06.Oktober 2012 erstmals der Reinhard-Schulz-Preis für zeitgenössische Musikpublizistik an den deutschen Publizisten und Dramaturgen Patrick Hahn verliehen. (Alle Fotos von Petra Basche und Martin Hufner – HuPe-kollektiv).

Im Anschluss an die Preisverleihung unterhielt sich Meret Forster vom Bayerischen Rundfunk mit Patrick Hahn über den Preis und den aktuellen Begriff der Musikpublizistik. Die Erstsendung erfolgte am 8.10.2012 auf BR-KLASSIK.
